Sylvana Uribe received her bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from California State University, Long Beach. Her writing and photography has been featured in 22 West Magazine (formerly the Union Weekly), City Magazine, Long Beach Viking Newspaper, and the Long Beach Business Journal. Sylvana’s photography of local musicians and events has also been shared by Bearcoon, Tall Walls, Summer and Music and the Downtown Long Beach Associates.
Sylvana’s ultimate passion lies in highlighting the dimensionality of communities housed in Long Beach. Sylvana aims to use her background in journalism and public relations to assist Long Beach organizations and small business owners in finding their voice and connecting with audiences. Sylvana exercises this passion through blogging, copywriting, photography, public relations, content creation campaign development, event planning, graphic designing, digital marketing, social media marketing and much more. No matter the task, caring for the community that raised her guides each and every one of her endeavors.
